Epic dinner fail (NBR)

So DH usually makes dinner...he's a better cook than I am and I am more patient about watching DD than he is (she can be difficult in the evenings because she doesn't want to go to sleep). Tonight, because he came home and mowed while I bathed DD, he asked me to make dinner so he could play with DD....

I dumped the whole $#$$ing pot of spaghetti down the dish disposal when I was trying to drain the pot...and we didn't have anymore or anything else to make...so DH had to go out and get another box of spaghetti from the store and now it's 9pm and we haven't even eaten yet...

EPIC DINNER FAIL...maybe I'll have some wine with dinner and try to forget what a klutz I am.

    I would have definitely ordered a pizza and put my feet up with some wine after that lol. Well hope you enjoy that spaghetti, you are working hard for that and waiting a long time, so I bet it will taste awesome, happy eating!

    Omg I'm cracking up right now. If it makes you feel better, I was doing that one time and dumped boiling water on my stomach. It blistered and hurt like a b.

    Boo that sux.  I so would have ordered food after that.  

    If if helps any, we still talk about what my mil did 3 thanksgivings ago.  One of my husband's aunts is a AWESOME cook, and she makes turkey and the works every year, she's getting older,she's 76 now, so we look forward to her food every year.  Well my mil brought the food up from her apt (she lives on the first floor of my in-laws house) everything was ready to eat, my mil picks the dish that stuffing is in, takes two steps and drops the stuffing ALL OVER THE FLOOR.  Titia's stuffing is so freaking good and her gravy you just want to smother all over your body.  We still tease her about it.

    Good to know I'm not the only dinner klutz. We didn't order pizza b/c dangit, I wanted spaghetti...the sauce was sitting on the stove smellin so good, and DH was talking about grabbing some fast food but nothing sounded good but that freakin spaghetti...

    I love that background! I wasn't all that impressed with JCPenny though..we had used Portrait Innovations for her 3 month pictures and I think we'll be going back to them from now on...Pennys gave us less for our $$ and it took FOREVER to get the pics back where as PI is same day.
