My big girl growing too fast!

Given that DH and I are taller than average, I'm not surprised we have a tall girl. I took her to the pedi yesterday and she's measuring 28 in.! She's the size of an average 9 month old. I kind of knew this considering she was growing out of her 6 month clothes. So today I officially stopped squeezing her into the 6 month clothes, was able to let go and put them all the way. It wasn't easy. But on the bright side she has a whole new wardrobe of clothes I get to dress her up in :) 

But I have no idea how I'm going to keep carrying her around. She hates being put in a carrier, and at almost 18lbs already, she's going to break my back! It's strange in a way having a baby so big. I have to keep reminding myself that she's only 4 months.

Anyone else have a big LO?

    My DS is a big one also! Not quite as big as your DD though. He was 16lbs 10oz (92nd percentile) and 26 1/4 inches long (84th percentile) as of yesterday at his 4 month appointment. He is currently wearing 6-9 month clothes!

    my guy is 16 wks old and was 16lbs a few weeks ago....can't remember his height but he's huge. My arms/back are killing me from carrying him around. He's in 6-9 month cloths as well, the little chunker :)

    At her three month appointment, my daughter was 18lbs 5oz and 27.5" long (off he charts for height and weight and 99th percentile for head circumference). She's going in for her four month appointment on the eighth and we'll see how much bigger she's gotten... My husband and I are both 6ft, so I knew she'd be big, but I'm starting to think my breastmilk is actually some kind of fortified cream :) I totally sympathize with having to carry her everywhere. My. Back. Is. KILLING. Me.

    My babies seem to be getting smaller each time.

    DD1: 27 1/2", 15 lbs 13oz at 4 months
    DD2: 26 1/2", 15 lbs 13oz at 4 months
    DD3: 25 3/4", 12 lbs 4oz at 4 months

    DD1 and DD2 were moving into 6-9 month clothes at this age. DD3 is in between 0-3 and 3-6 month.

    My 13month old was 17.1 yesterday and quickly outgrowing the 6mon clothes.... Had to get an ergo as my moby was a joke at 15lb

    When I went to the ER yesterday for his eye, he was weighed and was 16lbs 14oz.. That was with all his clothes and a rattle in his hand. I can't believe how much he has grown. I don't know his length yet, I will when he gets his shots in three weeks. I imagine it is near 27-28 inches since his head is almost past the top lip of the car seat.

    My 3 month old measured 15 lbs at his 3 month checkup.  He is in 6 month clothes. He didn't even get to wear some of his clothes bc he is growing so fast. Totally different than my daughter who was wearing a size smaller until she was 2.
