What do you typically serve for dinner? My LO, who is just over a year old, was a late bloomer with table/ finger foods. Now that he's finally caught on, I'd like to make just one dinner for us each night, but I could use some new ideas.... Please share!
Re: For those of you whose kids eat what you eat...
Last night we had chicken fajitas (his was a deconstructed fajita) and tonight we're having paremsan crusted chicken with yam fries and sauteed zucchini. Essentially, we make a meat and veggie (sometimes a starch) and he just eats that. Sometimes we have to deconstruct things, sometimes not, sometimes we have to cut things up, sometimes not. Sometimes we add a fruit to his meal if our meal isn't entirely baby friendly (too spicy, difficult for him to eat, etc.).
Some of his faves are pork chops, chicken, asparagus, zucchini, peppers, green beans, plain pasta, spaghetti, mac & cheese, baked potato, yam fries. Really, he'll eat just about anything but eggs so solids have been pretty easy on us so far.
