I hope this is fun for everyone. I am glad to feel welcomed by some, and definitely did not mean to cause any hurt feelings with others of you or say that you didn't count. I guess it's just that i've been lurking for so long, so for some who've only been posting here very recently to try to guess who i am, or insist that i must be an AE, it was just weird for me. But of course you had no way of knowing that, and my tone or words did get a little snatchy in some cases - and for that i apologize, I meant no harm. And when i say that i'm not here to make friends, i just mean that this place is just full of internet strangers except for the rare GTG - isn't that what's always said after crazy stories like this, this isn't real life or real friends, we don't really know anyone, for all you know it's a guy in his mom's basement? That's all I meant, that I'm not looking for external validation from anyone on the computer, hell if i was i couldn't have just lurked for as long as I did. I hope this clears up some of the confusion.

1. This is probably adding more fuel to the fire but I wouldn't change anything about my appearance. I mean there are things I'm not crazy about, like my nose being big but its part of who I am. Plus big noses add character or something.

I accept the flaws. 2. I'd really like to go into occupational therapy and work with special needs kids. 3. My children. So predictable but true. 4. An employee punched the owner in the face when he fired him. 5. Yes,I believe in karma. 6. I posted immediately. I actually managed to post for a few years unnoticed before I got flamed, lol. 7. While ttc 8. It's been a while-too much to choose one incident.

someone asked to bury a placenta there (a public park) apparently it's a spiritual thing, also, his co-worker would leave frozen meals in his truck all day then lay it on his hood at some point to really heat it up. barrrrf!

i posted on my local knot board back when i was planning our wedding ('04) and i remember the Nest being created. years later when i saw there was a Bump i lurked (when we were first trying to get pregnant, but that took a while and i took a long Bump break, then came back a while ago, lurked on and off ever since.)
8. What's the biggest message board drama you've seen? back on the knot, someone contacted a girl's employer or stalked her, i don't remember exactly but i remember her name was Dukegirl or something similar. more recently, MsGoodKat from Parenting (and here too) was outed as several AEs, some vicious. that happened when the first switch to the new format failed and some posters (maybe Mods, maybe not?) could see IPs.

Ok KC for #3 i should have specified that it can't be your children. i was thinking more like something that you've actually done, whether it's education, a sport, volunteering....something that speaks to who YOU are as a person or your strength.

1. If you could pick out your physical features, how would you look?
Skinny (but in shape, athletic, not starved), really long, thick hair, and small boobs because the big ones I have now are a pita.

2. Knowing what you know now, what education and/or profession would you like to have?
I should have gone to medical school. lol. My personal life would be completely different, but maybe I would have liked it more as a career.

3. Of what accomplishment are you most proud?
Graduating. My crazy family tried to pull me back but I got away.

4. What's the weirdest thing that's ever happened to your husband at work?
His intern's husband texted him to say that he left her at home while she was in the shower because he thought she was too sick to come in. This was actually pretty recently.

5. Do you believe in karma (without getting into a religion debate puhlease)? Like, talking about your parents being dead, won't the universe punish you in some way for that?
Yes, I believe in karma. I don't think you get punished for wishing someone were dead if they were a really crap person.

I'm not sure. A month or so.

Found the Knot while wedding planning.

8. What's the biggest message board drama you've seen?
Someone posted on the Knot about their friend admitting she wanted to have sex with her dog. The OP said she judged her friend and didn't want to be around her anymore and that post got out of control.

Biggest Bump drama - when someone on here said her daughter got bit by her dog and she had to go to the hospital and have stiches and then it turns out nothing she said was true and was using details about another friends life (being a lawyer, the profession of her DH) that was also on the Bump. Crazy. I dont' think she's on here anymore. But the pic of her boy was cute.

I'm pretty happy with my looks but I could stand to lose 10 more pounds.

I worked for a professional sports team for several years and I loved it, but left because it wasn't a good career when I became more family motivated. I have my MS in early childhood education but haven't used it professionally yet.

Cheesy, but so far raising my kids and having a great marriage at the same time.

H is a developer now, but 10 years ago he worked for the Chicago Cubs. He would sometimes have to make sure the baseball wives were kept away from the baseball girlfriends. Those guys are ALL skeezy.

I've just recently starting looking at the SAHM board but I've been around TK and TB for several years.

Originally to plan my wedding back in 2006. I was a poster on a board called NEY and this was my AE in case I ever got banned.

8. What's the biggest message board drama you've seen?

Back in my Knot days there were tons of cuckoo brides and 17 year old wannabe brides that would post nonsense. They'd usually have personal info in their profiles so I saw (but never actually did) lots of people get called out with real names.

3. Of what accomplishment are you most proud? I guess getting through school despite all the drawbacks

6. How long did you lurk before posting? I never lurked this board. I lurk ones that do not relate to me so I never post on those.

Initially it was wedding related, but I never posted on the message boards until after I gave birth to my daughter. I had been posting on a strictly wedding related board before this, but deleted my account shortly after I got married.
8. What's the biggest message board drama you've seen? It is very silly, but there was a thread on that wedding board asking a hypothetical question. "Would you save your pet or your friend's baby in a fire?" You can only save one. It turned into a very long 10 page thread full of drama and people yelling at each other.

I have no idea....I'm still really young and still exploring degrees.

Minus my son? I will volunteer at the soup kitchen quite often.

Nursing 3. Of what accomplishment are you most proud? Since I can't say graduating as I'm still working on my degree, I would have to say being married for 10 years, especially in a military relationship this ia an accomplishment. 4. What's the weirdest thing that's ever happened to your husband at work? While deployed to Iraq on a convoy mission he saw a donkey step on an IED and explode into pieces. He said it was pretty gruesome. 5. Do you believe in karma (without getting into a religion debate puhlease)? I kind of believe in karma, as in whatever actions or words you say can eventually come back and affect your life in some way be it positive or negative. 6. How long did you lurk before posting? I first signed onto the knot before getting married, but really didn't post, then when we started ttc I joined the bump for info and entertainment. 8. What's the biggest message board drama you've seen? Really can't say,besides the current drama, I really don't pay attention to the drama except for entertainment. I just can't understand why some people would go through the lengths they do to make up a fictional life just to post on a internet message board, their life must really suck. That is all. Sorry for block of text still figuring out how to post from my IPad on this new format, if anybody can give me some tips, I'd appreciate it.
