Hey I just read the baby was born, congrats, when are you going to share the good news in details.  Size, sex etc.  I  know you have a long revocation period but hoping time goes fast and all is well.

    Hi---The long revocation period stresses me out so badly that I don't want to share anything--- I'm breathing in fear every solitary moment that the baby's parent will revoke consent.

    He is a boy, was 8lbs 15 ounces, born in a crazy quick med-free birth. We were asked to cut the cord. Then we tried to give as much space to the baby's parent, and family as we could- we'd come for an invited few hours in the hospital every day and hang out. We went to dinner with the birth grandparents. We didn't hold the baby very much, or tend to him in the hospital. The papers were signed on Monday afternoon. We saw the birth family on Wednesday, they are coming over tomorrow to hang out. 

    Birth parent is doing ok- having ups and downs--- as to be expected.
    I've fallen down rabbit holes of stories of birth mothers who always regret their decisions, who revoke consent, etc.

    Sorry this isn't a super excited overjoyed response. I just love this little guy so much I'm terrified.

    Yes. He is. Came home Monday afternoon.
