How do I get DD to be un-clingy with me and like DH?

My almost 2 y/o wants me to do EVERYTHING or else she throws a fit, cries, whines, etc. She cries and kicks if DH tries to take her out of her car seat when we get home from daycare. She cries when I leave the living room to take a shower and its just DH and my 5 y/o boy. She cries if DH tries to pick her up and I'm in view. It's exhausting for me and stressful for my hubby. I would really like my DD to "like" her dad! I know she loves him and they play all the time but if I'm anywhere in view then forget DH!

I'm also the one that bathes her everynight and puts her to bed. I know if DH tried to give her a bath she'd throw a fit! So I don't want to force anything on her and make it more stressful.

Any tips to help us get through this?

We're in the same boat, but DH doesn't spend as much time with DD as I do. He coaches in the evenings so he misses a lot of our routine. She used to pitch a fit when DH would try to push the shopping cart at the store. I just kept saying, "nope, you don't choose. Mommy and Daddy do." And she came around. She still prefers me for pretty much everything, but the more he's around and participating in our routine, the better she accepts him.
