First pregnancy!

Hi everyone! My name is Jen and I am pregnant with my first child! I took the test two days ago, on the day my period should have started, and it was very positive. The line showed up fast and it was darker than the control line. My husband and I are very excited. I'm a little nervous since this is all very new to me.

I am a first time mum too, feeling a little nervous. Would love to just fast forward to my 12week scan but just trying to stay positive and enjoy every day! Congrats to everyone here. I found out 7 days ago, have since done 3 home tests and had my bloods checked too!! I'm still in shock that this is actually happening to me!

The bump helped me SO much when I was pregnant with my son - you'll find a lot of useful information here - just try not to get sucked into the snark... hormonal ladies breed drama. ;-)

I have always wanted to stay home but it looks like that won't be an option. I'm job hunting now and my husband is starting school again (getting out of the Army again, too- long story). The next few years will be interesting and probably pretty rough, but I have no doubt it'll totally be worth it. If I had stayed in my high salary, frequent travel job that I just left, kids wouldn't even be an option. That's why we've waited so long in the first place. I guess that's a story for another thread!

First for me, too! Nervous but excited. Still slightly in shock as well. Thank goodness for this board since I haven't told anyone yet except for hubby! Holding in the news is tough!
