Magic Sleepsuit for babies who suck at sleeping

We just used the Magic Sleepsuit for the first time last night.... I am astonished. Seriously. My kid has slept in the swing, RNP or in my bed for the last 5.5 months. Every time we tried the crib it failed miserably. Last time I put him in the suit, rocked him to sleep and put him in the crib and he didn't cry except to eat. My mind is blown. This is a child who cannot fall asleep or stay asleep on his own. He even woke up at one point and was babbling and kicking his legs and he fell back asleep by himself. This has happened literally 3 times before in his life! I almost cried this morning because I was so freaking happy. I sound like an infomercial but whatever. It WORKED and my husband and I slept in our bed with no children in it for the first time in 5.5 months.

For the record, our DD was an incredible sleeper who slept 12 hours a night at 3 months with virtually no sleep training so I thought I had the sleeping thing down pat until DS came along. I know it's only been one night but I've never seen DS anywhere close to sleeping like he did last night. Here's the hoping it lasts!

I'm so happy to read this!!! The magic sleepsuit was just delivered today. DD's sleeping is hit or miss. Sometimes we get 5 hours, but mostly 3. I hope we have the same luck as you!!!!

Our nanny said he's continued to nap great in it today. I am so so happy. He was always just so crazy with his arms that I think he couldn't relax or stay asleep. That coupled with the need to be enclosed or moving just made his sleep a disaster. The sleepsuit appears to address all of that for us. He also is going down drowsy but awake and falling asleep on his own which is huge for us. He has been rocked to sleep since birth.

We used it with DD until she was 9 months old and we have been using with DS since 2.5 months and it really is amazing. My only issue is using it in the summer bc my AC sucks, but that's my issue.

The Baby Merlins website does not have 3-6 months size in stock and neither does Amazon. Where did you all buy yours? Is there another retailer I can go to? This sounds like the solution to our sleeping problem.

I bought mine on Monday from Baby Merlin's website in the 3-6 size in blue.

I bought mine on Monday from Baby Merlin's website in the 3-6 size in blue.

Blue is the only color they have in that size. We have a girl so I guess I didn't look at the blue. I was more interested in the yellow as that is kind of neutral.

I just ordered one for my soon to be 6 month old and paid $20 extra for shipping to get it here by Tuesday haha I'm desperate to sleep through the night again, 2 months of being up every 2-4 hrs!!! Thanks for thus suggestion!! I always thought it was a swaddle

Just wanted to update that DS is still sleeping GREAT. Last night he was only up once and he actually falls asleep on his own in the suit which is awesome. I am very very pleased.

I received the sleepsuit and put DD in it tonight...it was HUGE. She's 3.5 months and 12.5 lbs. Were your LOs swimming in the suit at first? I got her the small (3-6 months). Is it still as effective? She looked so tiny in it so I took her out of it and swaddled her. :-S

My older DD wasn't even 12 lbs when we started her in it. It was huge on her but very effective. She was 4 months.

I tried the 6-9 month size first and it was giant but the 3-6 fits. I can't see his feet at all but his hands are starting to come out the sleeves. I guess it's big but I don't care.

I just ordered ours yesterday and DD is little too...12.7 lbs at 4 mo. I hope is works like it did for you. I am soooo tired!
