No - I did not have a stripper at my baby shower!

I just watched an episode of "Giuliana and Bill." Giuliana hosted a baby shower for one of her coworkers and one of their friends hired a stripper for the mom-to-be.

I would have burst into tears and left; I would have been so mortified. Then I would be furious with my friends.

Would you be able to stick it out????

I wouldve cried if my friends did that to me. Im also not a prude ive been to my fair share of strip clubs.

But a baby shower is not where i want to see one.

I would probably flip out and leave too! However if I were a guest at a shower and that happened I would take lots of pics and immediately report back to you gals to make fun of it! :-)

That's just inappropriate. My GRANDMA is at my baby shower. Save your strippers for an "appropriate" event, such as a bachelorette party or significant birthday.

I don't think I could continue to be close friends with someone who thought this would be ok.

I'm no prude, but that's completely inappropriate and rude considering relatives are mostly in attendance. I would have left.

OK, this is probably an UO, but I would not be mad unless my family is there. If it's a small baby shower with just me and my closest friends (like 3-4 people getting together for something small), I know we would all enjoy that (LOL me and my friends are weird like that). A bigger shower with my family, that would be completely inappropriate and piss me off.

FTR! No, I would not "stick it out". I would stop what was happening and make them leave. I wouldn't allow it to continue and further embarrass myself, my hostess, and my guests.

I think strippers are tacky, no matter the situation. Male strippers are more comical than sexy. I mean, I enjoy a hot bod as much as the next girl, but strippers are just cheesy. I have not enjoyed any of the bachelorette parties where I have been subjected to the strippers.

How does this even work? I mean is he dressed up like a baby? Yeah no, there is no way I would be ok with that. We didn't have strippers at my bachelorette party either just because I really don't have the urge to have some random man grinding his junk anywhere near me!!

I would have been livid. It's completely inappropriate to have a stripper at a baby shower. I sure as hell wouldn't want some naked guy rubbing up on me when I have a baby in my belly and I know my husband sure as hell wouldn't be happy with it either.

FTR It was a small group of their friends. No relatives were there. However.......... a bunch of the guests had their kids there and had to send them inside to play while the stripper did his thing.

And he was dressed as a construction worker. I'm not sure if it would have been better or worse if he was dressed as a baby.

My bachelorette party was at a spa, so that shows you how tame I am. Having a stripper at a baby shower is ridiculous!! So tacky!

I think it depends on the girl. I think that is freaking funny as heck but would be embarassed if my gma or aunts were there. If would have to be friends only!

Yup! Wig, floppy shoes and all. She even made balloon hats and flowers for everyone. Mortifying, but my parents (who hired her, a friend of theirs) were absolutely thrilled and had a great time. I couldn't take that away from them.

I have several friends who are strippers and they threw me a baby shower but none of them were there in a professional aspect. That would just be awkward lol

Haha I love that show and just watched the episode last night..In giliannas (spelling?) defense she didnt know her friend hired the stripper. And I don't believe the friend knew it was a baby shower....it was a small shower with close friends from work. I have to agree..I probably wouldn't enjoy a stripper with a bunch of family around but it looked like they had a lot of fun on the show and I don't think it would be that big of a deal if it happened to me at a small shower with my close girl friends..(:
