So I made these last night and they are really good, and have eaten plenty. My concern is now my supply seems to have DECREASED! And my little guy screams like he's in pain after a feeding. Anyone else experience anything like this?
I just wanted to say, I made them last night for the second time. They are yummy and a great snack for those middle of the night feedings. I did not however notice any change in my supply even after eating the first batch over about a week and a half. So when I made the second batch I saved a little of the raw dough and added a few tablespoons of the brewers yeast and some water to counteract the dryness and I am eating that right out of the refrigerator as well as eating the cookies. I also mix the brewers yeast with peanut butter. Today I added some to my pancake batter as well. I have found that finding ways to eat a larger quantity of the brewers yeast makes a difference in my supply. The baby seems more content when nursing and I am able to pump 5- 6 onces at a time instead of 2-4. I have not noticed any change just in baby or any kind of intolerance to my milk. Good luck to you
Lactation smoothies work almost instantly!! (and they are 10x better for you )
The place i got the reciepe from measured everything out to be equal to the 3 cookies per day that you would eat.
I used a fresh- frozen banana , frozen berries, and more milk because it was too thick otherwise. Trick is to soak the oats, yeast and flax seed overnight in the milk so they’ll mix better<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
½ cup Milk
