Pain in the hands

Does anyone else have super sore wrists and fingers? I'm guessing it's from carrying my 15 lb super long beefcake of a baby, but it's annoying and it hurts. Come to think of it, my whole body hurts!

    Yup, all the joints on my hands are getting calloused from his infant carrier too, everything hurts from lugging around my 16lb+ chunky monkey

    I was having pain in my wrists a while ago. I think it started when DS was around 3 or 4 weeks old. It was to the point when I sometimes worried I was going to drop him. When I mentioned it to my midwife, she said it might be carpal tunnel, and to up my water intake. She also specifically asked about any pain/numbness in my thumb, pointer and middle fingers. If this sounds similar to your situation, I would bring it up with your doc at the next appointment. Mine seems to have gone away, so it was a pretty easy fix for me. However, I know that sometimes it's not so easy. Probably better to look into it sooner than later, and if it's not c.t., then you can start figuring out what else it could be. GL!

    Yes, we had a thread going on this a couple days and there are a bunch of people with sore, stiff joints. I hate it!

    De quvains tendinitis- or "mommy thumb" - Google it and see if that's what your experiencing? Mine started while pregnant, about 6 weeks pp I had to get shots in both wrists, been better ever since!

    Yes! My toes and fingers hurt especially. Some days I cannot bend my fingers. Currently I am seeing my hematologist bc my platelet count and WBC are rapidly dropping :( they are thinking maybe an autoimmune disorder.
