Adoption Prayer Board - August 1, 2013

Welcome to The Bump's Adoption Prayer Group! We are a group who believes that prayer is the backbone to any person, season, or situation in life.  This is an opportunity for you to post prayer requests, encouragement, and have other Bumpees pray for you.  We're moving to a once a month format because that seemed like it was working better for myself and anyone else.  If you have a prayer request that is confidential, please feel free to send me a PM!

At this time everyone is currently connected with a prayer buddy, but if you are interested, please let me know and we can start creating prayer trios! Surprise

We welcome ANYONE to this group and firmly believe that we should "not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication and with thanksgiving, let our requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." -Philippians 4:6-7

We'll give people the opportunity to share:

1. Encouraging Scripture
2. Prayer requests
3. Write out a prayer for the other ladies on The Bump, if you feel comfortable! :)

It is my hope that this group will be an encouragement and inspiration to each of you as we sojourn on this adoption road together! Be blessed today!

I'm a dance studio owner, writer, cat mommy, and adventuress who is married to the man of her dreams. My husband and I have had a long-time dream to adopt and it's happening in a way that we didn't quite anticipate. But, like any move of God, it's turning out way better than we expected.     1. Encouraging Scripture

    "For you will not leave in a hurry, and you will not have to take flight; because the Lord is going before you, and the God of Israel is your rear guard." -Isaiah 52:12 (HCSB)

    2. Prayer requests

    That God would be with my husband and I as we are now officially in the waiting season! :)

    3. Write out a prayer for the other ladies on The Bump, if you feel comfortable! :)

    Lord, may we each gain a greater sense of what it means to give and receive love in its entirety through our adoption processes!
