What shoes does your LO wear to preschool?

DS starts next week and I'm wondering if I need to get him some sneakers. He has a pair of closed toe sandals (Keens) and a pair of crocs that are closed toe. Is that good?

I think they usually say sneakers but I think Keens would pass.

Lydia wore rubber soled Mary Janes and sneakers until it warmed up toward the end of the school year. Then she wore cute little open toed sandals. Her class went out for recess and she was fine. She told me she had to take her shoes off to get rocks out but that happened with whatever shoes she wore, not just the sandals.

At DS's school the only restriction is flip flops, everything else is fine. DS wore slip on style sneakers for the most part.

Sneakers for the most part, but something closed-toed would work.

I guess I'll have to wait util I get our parent handbook then and see. Should get him some shoes beforehand though just to have them ready.

I try not to send DS1 in Crocs, too many spills. The Keens should be fine, though.

Sneakers, the girls sometimes wear Mary Janes; as long as they are easy to put on and they're closed toe they are fine

Our preschool requires closed toed shoes. Our kids usually wear sneakers.

This, any close toed shoe is fine, but tennis shoes are encouraged.

Closed toe. So gym shoes or something like keens. They will actually make you go home and bring other shoes if you send your kid in crocs because they say they aren't safe for outdoor play. We don't have crocs so I don't know how true that is but they say kids get hurt in them a lot.

Sneakers. My ds's school is very play based and they spend a lot of time at the playground, open gym with equipment, etc. we buy sneakers that are easy to get on and off.
