Trying to Get Pregnant

CB Advanced OPK

I've always read that you should NOT test your first morning's urine. However, the directions to this test say that is the urine to test. Just wondering if anyone knows why? This is the first OPKs that I've seen that say to do this. Just curious.

  • I think it is because it uses the first urine of the new cycle as a baseline. Using FMU means the same concentration every day so there is some consistency with testing. It "remembers" the concentration of estrogen and LH from the last test. It all starts over after a peak reading
