I haven't let myself get too terribly involved with this board, though I have posted and replied a few times, because I'm never sure that I will end up with a viable pregnancy. Past experience says no. And it has proved true once again. I went for an ultrasound Monday and there was no longer a heartbeat and the embryo hadn't grown for almost two weeks. Because I decided to try progesterone this time, my body didn't let go of it and I had no idea until yesterday. I was sent home with misoprostol and I was going to use it within the week (probably over the weekend if it didn't happen on its own first - so I wouldn't miss work), but as soon as I stopped the progesterone, I started bleeding by morning. I went ahead and used the misoprostol to speed up the process, and let me tell you it works. It makes me feel awful, but it works. Now just over 24 hours later I'm feeling better and bleeding less. Third time was not the charm for us and it is time to start some testing to see why this keeps happening.
Good luck to all you ladies out there and I hope you bring home beautiful babies in few months...
You are truly a strong brave person. This would be enough to destroy me. I am very sorry, I hope one day you may be able to hold, miracles can happen. Very sorry! Good luck!
Sorry to hear of your loss. Take care of yourself.
I'm 36; DS 14; DS 12; DD 9; SD 15; SD 9 and DH 37 BFP July 10, 2013 and EDD march 18, 2014. Left ovarian cyst and right unicornuate uterus (will likely be treated high risk again)
Hugs to you. Misoprostol is a bear, I had to use it last time. I feel your pain. I'm praying for a sticky one here and hope one comes your way in the future. T&P's.
Keep your head up. This is my 4th pregnancy with 3 prior miscarriages. After all the testing they never did find anything wrong or out of place. So sorry for your loss just know that you are not alone.
I am so sorry for your loss. It looks like I may be encountering the same thing, so I appreciate you sharing your difficult experience for someone who doesn't know what to expect.
