Would You Rather?

For those working moms,

If your child went to an in-home daycare and the providor's child was sick, would you rather send your kids there anyway, or find another sitter last minute?

    Depends on the illness, but most likely try to find another sitter.

    i guess it depends on what the provider's child was sick with..if it was something like an ear infection that isn't likely to be contagious, I'd probably ask the provider if they were up to keeping my child AND taking care of their sick kid..if the kid has a stomach bug or something that may spread to my child, I'd find someone else.

    It would depend on a few factors.  If it was the stomach flu definitely find another sitter!  If it was a Monday I might not send them, but other than that I would send them, my thinking being they have probably already been infected anyway.  

    I actually do home-daycare, I watch another baby in our home.  I always alert the parents if their child is sick, but most of the time I don't insist they pick him up for the same reason I stated, my kids will probably get it anyway!
