2.) Do twins run in your family?

2.) Do twins run in your family? On my DH's side, yes - but I think they usually follow the female?

3.) What are you most worried about (pregnancy-wise) Incompetent cervix (for no reason - just know its increased chance with twinkies)

4.) What are you going to do for daycare? Probably find an in-home place near our house

3.) What are you most worried about (pregnancy-wise). Seeing both heartbeats August 15th
4.) What are you going to do for daycare? We are hoping family will be willing to help!

Ahhh I remember this from my BMB when I was PG with my girls

Feeling nostalgic!!

Again, if you all need anything or have any questions just page me or whatever! I know it can all get overwhelming figuring out whats normal during pregnancy, what you'll need, etc. and I'm happy to help or offer guidance when I can!

I am on the crap app so work with me.

1) 7 weeks 3 days

2) Yes, my maternal aunt and cousin have fraternal twins but these are more likely the result clomid and iui.

3) I am worried about my back carrying two babies has I have a rod on my spine which causes quite a bit of pain. Also, finances from going from one kid to three. Oh and trying to keep my sanity...sigh...

4) No clue. We can't afford 3 in daycare and I would go crazy staying at home so who knows. I am taken a 6 month maternity leave so we have awhile to figure it out.

2.) Do twins run in your family? On both of our family sides....we both thought it wasn't going to happen to us...although from the moment I got the first + DH said it was twins.

3.) What are you most worried about (pregnancy-wise) just the "possible" complications that comes with multiples and making sure they are both OK

4.) What are you going to do for daycare? It will probably be a near by place or in home daycare since there will be double the trouble

2.) Do twins run in your family? - No, we had 2 embryo transferred and both took. This will be a first
3.) What are you most worried about (pregnancy-wise) - That we have another loss.
4.) What are you going to do for daycare? No idea! We have no family near enough to help out! I'm taking it one day at a time, and not going to look that far ahead just yet.

2) My maternal great-grandmother was a twin and had twins.
3) Hmmm, this changes daily. Right now I'm worried about the possibility of complications and TTTS.
4) I work from home so I will be home with the kids during the day. Eek!

Are any of you ladies taking any special kind of prenatal vitamins, or more of something know that you know there are TWO.

I am currently taking the Target brand PN and not sure if there is something better when having multiples.

I will probably take an iron supplement in the 2nd tri. As for right now they said take at least 400mg of folic acid and I noticed my prenatal has 800mg so that made me feel better. I also take a calcium supplement because I am allergic to milk.

I was wondering if anyone has been told to boost their Folic acid, calcium, omega or iron? I keep getting mixed messages.

@skeppler1 I'm taking magnesium, vitamin D, MegaRed, and my normal PNV. I meant to ask about frolic acid but forgot.

1.) How far along are you? 7w0d
2.) Do twins run in your family? Yes, on both sides, but these twins were a result of IVF.
3.) What are you most worried about (pregnancy-wise)? I'm still really early, so miscarriage is my main concern at this point.
4.) What are you going to do for daycare? Our goal is to get ourselves to a position financially so I can stay home with the twins. I make good money, but childcare is so expensive in the Chicago area that most of my paycheck would just be going to pay for someone else to watch my kids. If that doesn't work out, we'll look for an affordable nanny or consider an au pair.

I was told to double my folic acid which is a prescription. It was originally one a day but upped after we found the twins. I also take prenatal, b12, vit d, pregnitude twice a day, and daily protesterone suppository. Fun stuff.

2.) Do twins run in your family? No..... my twins are from infertility drugs

3.) What are you most worried about (pregnancy-wise) I just want everything to go great and have healthy babies

4.) What are you going to do for daycare? I actually am planning to be a stay at home mom once they are born

I could use some insight, thoughts, and prayers.....

Had my 8 1/2 week ultrasound yesterday and babies looked great. They are measuring 1-2 days ahead with heartbeats around 180. I came home and napped. After my nap I used the bathroom to find quite a bit of bright red blood. I panicked and did call our infertility clinic. They told me it was probably due to the ultrasound and a sensitive cervix. She said it was good it was a one time episode, that the bleeding seemed to stop, and there is no cramping. She put me on pelvic rest for the night. With that being said, it's happened twice since then. There is nothing in between...only when I use the bathroom. I will call to update them later this morning but I'm worried!!!!!!

@Nblondheim - I wish you all the best l. The bleeding could from numerous, harmless causes so try not to stress yet. For example, earlier this week I woke up gushing blood and thought I had miscarried the one twin but the babies were fine and it was a bloodclot that caused the bleeding. It could be something similar. Wishing you all the best!

Thank you ladies about the PNV suggestions. I might start taking some additions supplements like magnesium, hoping that will ease my problems...haha

Yup same thing happened to me when I was PG with my twins, at the same time, too. I went in for my 8 week u/s at the RE and later that day I had a lot of bright red bleeding. My awesome dr. brought me back in for a "reassurance" u/s to prove that they were fine, but of course I was flipping out. But either way, I did just have a really sensitive cervix. babies were fine. And this is TMI but a few weeks later at 13ish weeks I has INSANELY constipated from the zofran and I actually irritated my cervix and had more bright red bleeding just because i was pushing so hard to go! But again, sensitive cervix.

Thank you both for the insight! I just used the bathroom again and it was way minimal compared to before and turning dark brown so I think I am nearing the end and will hold off calling the clinic unless it happens again!

Hello twin mamas!

1) 8 weeks 1 day
2) twins do not run in the family, we implanted two embryos during our first IVF cycle and here we are!
3) I am a worry wart, so this is almost a trick question! I am still worried about a miscarriage. Once that has passed, I will be worried about cooking them long enough to be really healthy and avoid complications.
4) daddy daycare for us, plus both our parents live close by and are expecting to help out.
