If I can bookmark a whole board, or do I have to do a thread on each board I get onto?

    Only threads. Or you could just bookmark all the boards you frequent in your browser. That's what I've ended up doing.

    That's what I did and then I just leave them open in various tabs and refresh them, since there's no way to navigate back and forth on the new TB easily.
