First round of Clomid - One Follicle
Hello all!
I am new to this site and I figured I needed some more support through TTC. I am glad that there are others I can reach out to, but definitely not glad we all have trouble with it 
I recently did my first round of Clomid, only 50mg for 5 days, which gave me one follicle. I took the Ovidrel shot and my lady bits are a vessel of progesterone & estrogen pills! (Estrace blue is my least favorite color).
I am during my 2ww now, and was wondering if anyone had any success either with the first round of clomid or with one follicle. I know it only takes one, and I don't want to get my hopes up, but hey it might happen. Anyone's stories and tries are welcome as I wanted to broaden my knowledge of this whole process. Thanks!

A lot of the ladies here take clomid (I haven't yet), but normally I read about anything from 1-4 follies growing when on it. I just learned last weekend that an old HS friend of mine got pregnant on her first round of clomid, so it can happen. But if you're looking for more success stories, most of us on here are still trying for baby #1. You may hear more positive stories on the Success After IF board.

Me 33, DH 37 -- TTC since Jan'12 -- Low AMH (0.78) & endo, SA w/ low motility
IUI's 1-3 = BFN, IVF converted to IUI 4/13 = BFN
IVF 1.2: 8R 6M 4F -- 2 blastocysts frozen, FET 8/15 = BFP!!
Beta #s = 445;1,098; 9,545 -- EDD 5/2 -- Team Pink!
Not a lot of success stories here. FWIW I ovulate on my own and did 3 rounds of 50mg of clomid. Twice I had 1 follie and once I had 2. I think 1-2 follies is a pretty typical response.

DH (32): SA is ok, slightly low morph, normal SCSA Me (32): Slightly low progesterone, hostile CM, carrier for CF, Moderately high NKC, High TNFa, heterozyogous mutated Factor XIII, and +APA
October 2012-May 2014: 4 failed IUIs, 3 failed IVFs, and 1 failed FETw/donor embryos
November 2014: IVF w/ICSI #4 Agonist/Antagonist with EPP and Prednisone, Baby Aspirin, Lovenox, and IVIG for immune issues. Converted to freeze all due to lining issues. 2 blasts frozen on day 6!
January 2015: FET #2 Cancelled due to lining issues
April 2015: FET #2.1

March 2013: First TTC trip to RE, On 1500 mg Metformin, April 2013: PCOS and Endometriosis, May 2013: DH Low volume; Femara 7.5 mg + IUI #1 = BFN, July 2013: Femara 7.5 mg + IUI #2 = BFN, August 2013: Femara 7.5 mg (X5) + Bravelle (X7) + Ovidrel + IUI #3 + Endometrin = BFP MC at 5w3d,
October 2013: Follistim (X14) + Ovidrel + IUI #4 + Endometrin =BFP!!!
I am also on my first round of Clomid and any day now I should get my LH surge and go in to see how many follicles I get. I ovulate on my own and I have gotten 3 BFPs, but my cycle is short (24 days) so the RE is hoping that the clomid will make me ovulate a few days later in my cycle (which it has, I would have ovulated by no later than today without it) and that will make my lining better. Extra follicles are just extra chances, but I am happy as long as I get one!!
My SIL got a BFP on her second round of clomid. The first round she didn't get any follicles, so it is very possible that you can get your BFP! FX and GL to you!
