Alright ladies I need some insight and honest opinions on my numbers. I went in Monday morning to get my beta levels and they were 649. I went back today and they were 1139. They didn't quite double, but it was probably 46 hours between since I went in earlier today so not sure if that matters. It is more than the 60 percent rise they say is okay, but does this mean my chances of miscarriage are higher than if they had doubled? I don't want to worry over nothing, but I had a miscarriage back in march and we have been trying for over a year so I really want this baby to stick! Thanks for your help!
What did the nurse/doctor say? I would think that's close enough for no concern but that they might check it one more time. Are you going back for one more check?
Well I've read lots of stuff online now that has helped me feel better. Everything says a rise of 60 percent is normal and anything higher than that is fine. I did send my dr a message a few hours ago. I was just hoping someone had a positive experience with this but thanks anyways!
I met with my doctors today and they confirmed 60% is what they look for. So I think it's a good sign. I don't think your numbers would be increasing so much if you were miscarrying again but that's just a thought. My numbers went up 75% and I am thrilled because of all my past miscarriages.
I've had 4 pervious m/c but doc won't do betas. I guess in the long run it does mater, it will either stick or it won't. It's a long wait until August 30th...
Thank you! Mine went up about 79 percent according to an hcg calculator I found so that makes me happy then. I thought the same thing. With my previous miscarriage they didn't even come close to doubling within 72 hours. I guess an ultrasound will tell all which is what I'm hoping I can get when I get back from vacay.
