Is it ok to drink Spark ( the drink mix from the Advocare program) when TTC and while pregnant?

    What would you suggest then? I am trying so hard to get away from caffeine but I work 40 hours a week in my day job then go work another 20 hours a week at my dance studio that I own.. My days get long and sometimes i need that boost..

    Foods that give you energy. 
    If you want to quit something you will, I went from 2 pots a day to 1 cup a day. I hope you find a healthier alternative!

    I wouldn't drink spark. I was drinking it my first pregnancy bc I found a forum where a few women said they drank it during their pregnancy and I ended up miscarrying. :( obviously I have no way of proving it was related to spark, but I wouldn't chance it! Honestly, I would stick to coffee and try your best to get through the day! Good luck!

    Trying eating an apple and drinking a glass of cold water. That was suggested to me once and it does work for me when I can't/don't want coffee. :)

    You could try taking a B-12 vitamin. It will boost your energy. I was reading up on it and it said it was safe for pregnant and nursing women in the correct dosage.

    *Currently on Clomid (monitored) and waiting on tissue results.

    Many (most?) doctors approve up to 300 mg caffeine per day when you're TTC and even when you're pregnant. That's 16 ounces of brewed coffee. If you break it into four half-cup "doses" over the course of 4-6 hours, you'll get steady energy without the hard buzz and the even harder crash.
