Slower growing leg hair

Hey ladies,

I am not complaining, but just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the wonderful pregnancy symptom of slower growing leg hair?

I shaved on Friday, today is Wednesday, and it still feels like it just shaved yesterday.

Anyone else experiencing this?

    Yep!  I've just been enjoying it since, same as you, I shaved Friday and my legs still feel pretty smooth.  Nature's way of helping us out a little? lol

    Really though, I read something a few weeks ago about how your fingernails might be getting brittle around this time because baby is sucking up all of your B vitamins like crazy.  I figured hair growth might be affected by that as well.

    It's so funny. I was going to post about this on Sunday. It's great! Too bad the rest of my body isn't following my leg hair's decision.

    Yes! I've enjoyed it immensely as my balancing act in the shower has become more dangerous as this belly grows. I'm not looking forward to it going back to the rate it used to grow!

    yep!  happened with my last pregnancy too....it litterally has stopped growing....I never shave.  Its awesome!.....its like your body knows you can't reach your legs so its doing you a favor!  :)

    I hadn't really thought about it being pregnancy related until I saw this post, but this morning as I put on a shorter dress I noticed that my legs were pretty decent even though I haven't shaved in a couple of days.

    Yep! I thought at first it was because I was exfoliating regularly but, I haven't done that in a while and I barely have to shave. Definitely a welcome side effect :P

    yep, joyfully slow hair growth. HOWEVER, my nails are growing at warp speed! it's a PITA.

    Yes!!! I usually shave every day and now I only have to shave like twice a week! Love it!!!!

    I wish!! My hair grows as fast as ever. Only difference is that now I have even less motivation to shave my legs. LOL. It's not actually that hard to do, I just don't like doing it.

    The pores on my face have shrunk tremendously though! My skin is clearer than ever!

    Ok, this is me too!  I'm really hoping this slow growth kicks in for me soon because I am not enjoying having to shave every day.  

    Ok.  I'll admit, I DON'T shave every day.  But I should.

    Me! It's been awesome. Although with all the vitamins I thought I would have the opposite problem. Not complaining though!

    yup.  I already had slow growing hair.  None of the other women in my family have hair on their legs, but I usually had to shave every few weeks.  I haven't had to shave in months now.  It's wonderful.   Same thing with arm pit hair. Ironically though, the skin in my pits got darker so now it looks like I have more hair there.  You just can't win. hahaha

    mine are the opposite. My leg hair grows in so fast right now. I feel like I have to shave all the time. I don't, because it's difficult to do, but it's definitely growing faster.

    I wish it was all of my hair that was slower growing, and not just my leg hair.  But I'll take what I can get.

    Slow growth here, noticed it a few months ago and was all excited. 1 positive symptom to the 56 negative symptoms. Although I noticed my nails are really weak and easy to break and the hair on my head falls out a little. :/

    I have also noticed the same thing about slower growing leg hair this summer.  I actually thought the opposite would be true.

    eyris, I hadn't heard that but my finger nails are getting extremely brittle over the past 2 weeks, whereas the rest of the pregnancy they have been amazing! 

    As for the leg hair, I have no idea.  I am only shaving once a week so I don't know if it's because I'm only shaving once a week that the hair isn't growing as fast or if it's because of pregnancy.

    Yes!!  DH was rubbing my legs the other day and said, "oooh smooth...you must've shaved today!" and I thought about it and was like "no....actually it's been like 3 days...." and that's when I made the realization.  LOVING IT! :)
