GTKY: How did you find the bump?

Since so many people seem to be asking about acronyms, it makes me wonder how everyone came across thebump (I assume if you don't "know" the acronyms you didn't come from TTC or theknot...)?

I started out on The Knot, then moved over The Nest with the ladies who got married in the same month/year as we did. Then I moved over to TB when we decided to start TTC!

I planned my wedding on The Knot, but never used the message boards. Seldom used The Nest. My sister was on the boards for The Bump and suggested them to me and thus, here I am!

I didn't post a fraction of as much on TK as I do on TB, though.

I miss all of the "Planning Bio" links in signatures, though. I used to love looking at those and seeing everyone's wedding plans.

I have an account from The Knot but never used message boards during wedding planning.

I found out about TB through a friend. As soon as I told her about my BFP she told me I "JUST HAD TO FIND" my BMB because she got so much help from hers. (Apr '13)

This is me too. I am now on a fb group with these mommies still :-) as soon as I got my bfp this time I came over here. It's just a lot harder to stay active running after a 16 month old & working full time. I try to share/ comment when I have time :-)

I think I found the bump from a commercial when pg in 2010.

Like a lot of others I signed up for the Knot when planning my wedding, but never knew about the forums. I randomly googled a pregnancy question when I was TTC DD and ended up on the Bump. I lurked for a long while before I felt comfortable enough posting.

A friend of mine suggested it when I told her I was pregnant.
She said she found it midway through her pg and her son is now 2.5yrs old and she still connects with those ladies and even went to meet a group in Chicago last year.
They do cute little gift exchanges and such and I thought that was really special.

I was on the knot but never used the message boards. I loved my BMB group from my previous pregnancy. We formed a facebook group that is great.

I'd never heard of the Knot or the Nest or the Bump....when we got our BFP my sister referred me to TB. She was on it when she was pg with her first (8 years ago!!) and then again with her second, in the January 2012 group. She said I might need a support group and a place to ask questions, bounce ideas off of people etc. Recommended it and I love it!

I was actually on The Nest, before the baby boards were created and only BOTB was on there. Then they created The Nest Baby which turned into The Bump. This is my first time on a birth month board though!
