Good OB/GYN in Napa/ Sonoma/St Helena?

Hi all, I'm wondering if anyone has a suggestion for a good OB in the Napa area? We are new to the area, haven't met many people yet, and just found out I'm expecting......but have no idea how to pick an OB? I want someone who is responsive and very competent, as I may have some other health issues.  Also wondering which is the best hospital to deliver at? QVH, SVH, St Helena, or go further like Marin General, John Muir,  or Northbay???

    Hi! I am seeing the doctors at the St. Helena Women's Center and they are great! I have had a few pregnancy health issues myself and they are very proactive about it. I plan to deliver at St. Helena Hospital. But I would suggest taking a tour of the hospitals near you and get a feel for the delivery and labor unit and their staff to find what will work best for you. Hope this helps! And congrats!!

    Hi! I have a 5 week old and you cannot to wrong with the St. Helena women's center. The Doctors Henry and Kirk are great and my favorite is the nurse Sue. They are VERY attentive and do not force you into anything. They walk you through it! Plus you can see them in Napa or St. Helena.
    On top of that the St. Helena hospital is AMAZING! I couldn't say better things a out a hospital. The nurses treat you like a human and a friend and not just a patient. I had a very long labor and got to know all of them. When I came home with my baby I even was able to call the nurses when I was worried about symptoms he was having. They give you great advice and I actually can't wait to go visit them soon!
    Hate to say it but I have had the worst time with Queen of the valley and I will do anything I can to stay away from there!

    Sorry to butt in, but would you be willing to share more info about why you don't like Queen of the Valley? I haven't yet made a decision and I'd like some help trying to decide.
