First Ultrasound!

I had my first appointment yesterday! I was expecting to be about 8 or 9 weeks but after the ultrasound we discovered I'm only 6w 4d. I was a little disappointed because I thought I was further along but we were able to see the heartbeat. That made me feel so much better. They said everything looked great and my official due date is March 22nd. My husbands birthday is March 27th so he's convinced the baby will be born on his birthday. Now I get to wait another 5 weeks for my next appointment! All this waiting is killing me. I'm constantly praying and worrying about the baby!

    You probably ovulated later than you think, so if you were dating your pregnancy by LMP, then that would (falsely) put your further along than you are based on when you may have ovulated.

October 2012 Metformin 1500 mg= ovulation on CD34 BFP#2 11/14/12 9DPO, EDD 7/26/13, DX Gestational Diabetes @14 wks, our angel born sleeping 3/24/13 @ 22wks 2d. BFP #3 7/4/13 8DPO EDD 3/22/14, DX Gestational Diabetes @14 wks. started insulin @16 wks.  Our rainbow, born 3/19/14 @ 39wks 6d., we're so in love!

    Yeah that's what my doctor said too. I have longer cycles so going off my last period was not very accurate! Thanks so much!

    Ill be six weeks tomorrow and I worry alot to.im trying to work on it tho just to keep the baby safe from stress .
