Allergy Blood Testing

Did you do RAST or Immunocap? Do you have to tell them what allergens to test for or does it just test for everything?

    RAST, and you have to tell them what to test for.  But my DD is 7 and it was years ago.  Hope this helps.

    We did RAST. Our dr decided what he wanted to test for. Our first test was just for common food allergies and the second test was for food as well as indoor and outdoor allergens. She's also had the skin prick test done for food, indoor and outdoor allergens.

    We did RAST at 3.5 mos. my doctor decided what to test for. One thing to be aware of, if lo has not been exposed to a certain allergen, it will come back negative.
