Baby woke up with a droopy eyelid

My son woke up this Mornin with his right eyelid drooping. His eye is not red or oozing anything. The right side of his face is slightly swollen. He is not acting sick and is not weak. My mom who is a nurse said it could be a tooth/ear infection. Me being paranoid was concerned it could be something neurological. Anyone else experience this out of the blue?

    I personally have this happen when my allergies get bad.  My eyelid will swell up, but I won't have any visible irritation beyond that.  I assume you have called the pedi?  If not, I would for something like this. :)

    Me too had the same experience one day when my son woke up with a swollen eye but my mother-in-law- adviced that some times it may happen due to excessive of sleep the baby may have.

    Need not to worry, it will end by the end of the day...if still persist, then consult your pedi...
