This. I never understood why outside of a title people capitalize every word of a sentence. A fb friend of mine does that and it drives me crazy.

Anyway. My brother in law is a chiropractor and he shows me what they do with infants and their theories on colic, but I would still never do it. I personally think that the practice is voodoo and doesn't actually help anything. Now, if you ask my H, he love his chiro. He took me to one of his appointments so I could see what happens, but I still don't like it, so I'd never take my kid to one.

  • Sorry about the capitals.  When I'm on my phone it automatically does it.  I've been trying to fix it.  Hubbs can't figure it out either.  And it's only the bump it does it on.. Right now, im on our computer  but its  very rare that I can get to it during the day.

    And thanks for your opinions.

  • Yep, all my kiddos go fairly shortly after birth & then about every six months after that for maintenance - unless they get hurt, then they'll go a bit more.

We have opposite problems. My phone no longer is doing the auto caps after a period nor inserting a period after two spaces. Frustrating!

Saw on an episode of Baby Story (long time ago) a mom on there was a chiro, did the whole birth at home with family in the small pool in their living room or bedroom .... made me definitly want a hospital birth. They showed her doing infant adjustments.

  • I worked at a chiro for 4 years and all through my pregnancy with DS. He got his first adjustment at 2 weeks old and has been adjusted ever since.

DD was like a month or 6 weeks at her first adjustment (would have gone sooner but live further away now).

Important to remember that children are adjusted completely differently than adults. Nothing is twisted or "cracked" its non-oseous adjusting and completely safe. Wouldn't hurt to try IMO.
