SO brought this home for Connor yesterday and he loves it! Do any of your LO's have this toy? He gets the sweetest look on his face when the toy sings to him and hugs it and makes a happy little sighing sound. I like that it has 40 different songs to choose from,volume control and you can set the bedtime music to 2,5 or 10 minutes.

I just looked at one at Barnes and Noble last week. I think I'll buy one from amazon with my next paycheck. I've heard good things about it. I'm glad your little guy likes it!

@perfectlove09, if you have a Walmart near you they are less than $20.00 there. It might be a few bucks cheaper than amazon.

They also have it in purple and it's a girl pup named Violet. Oh,it can be programmed to know your LO's name,so when it talks to them it calls your baby by name. SO CUTE!

@j3nnyb, good luck. I remember reading about peek a boo baby,lol, that's the sort of thing that would scare Connor too. Good luck, hope your LO likes it!

We have Violet and DD loves it! She absolutely lights up when it plays the "Ainsley" song.

I'm sold. Off to amazon to purchase Violet. I need to work on this whole working moms guilt thing because every time someone recommends a toy I buy it for LO. Darn amazon for letting me buy something in a couple seconds and delivering it to my doorstep in two days.

DS is in love with his Scout. Even when DH or I sing the songs from it, he lights up.

I love Scout and violet (we have one for each girl) cause they are some many things into one music box for as night cuddle toy, and game. Great for vacation just make sure to have fresh batteries. Our littlest still doesn't quite get it but loves the music. Our 2 year still routine wants violet to "sing" her to sleep. Best $20 we ever spent on a toy.

Do any of you have the Fisher Price version of this? The Laugh Learn Love dog? We received one as a gift and my LO does not seem impressed. I haven't taken it all the way out of the box and am thinking of reselling. Just wondering if anyone can compare the two?

DD has violet and likes the songs but it got old to her. DH took it home from vacation and we won't see it for another week. I hope she likes it again! It is very cute and we have been switching up the 'favorites' on it so it goes with her likes. We switched foods from 'baby food' to 'banana' and the animals too. It keeps it interesting for adults.

We got Violet yesterday. My middle daughter had her and loved it! She still talks about it. The only thing I don't like is how it says her name - she sounds confused-slash-excited. "Moo moo, what animal am I (insert half second pause) MILI???"
