How is the jogging progressing ladies? I've had a few long runs this past week where I don't even remember I'm pregnant and feel great. I do feel that the next day must be a rest or extremely short day though. What are your findings since our last check in?

Jan '14 Siggy Challenge: Things I've had to deprive myself of while pregnant:
Rum & Coke...mmm!! Laying on my stomach! Can't wait!
I know I probably sound like a broken record, but the 140 heart rate shouldn't be a concern.
"If you exercised regularly before pregnancy, there's no need to focus on your heart rate for exercise during pregnancy.
Years ago, some experts recommended a heart rate of no more than 140 beats a minute for exercise during pregnancy. Today, however, heart rate limits aren't typically imposed during pregnancy. For healthy women, the Department of Health and Human Services recommends at least 150 minutes a week of moderate-intensity aerobic activity — preferably spread throughout the week — without any specific heart rate limits."
My OB says the recommendation changed to 160 bpm recently (it was 140 at my last PG). In any event, I agree, if you were active before, don't fixate. That said, I don't hit above 150 these days just because my stamina is reduced. I'm down from 10 miles a day to 5, but that's loads better than my 1st time around so I'm not complaining

The last time I ran outside and got too hot, I felt terrible all night and didn't sleep well. That was early June. I'm feeling much better overall but still scared to have that happen again. I'm so sad to be scared to run.
