Staying asleep

I have no problem getting my DS to fall asleep...it's the staying asleep part we don't have down. He was up every 90 minutes last night and I am a zombie today. I put him in a Merlin's Magic Sleep Suit to sleep, nurse before bed, put on a super absorbent night diaper, have a white noise machine, turn the AC to 70 so he's not too hot, try calming him before picking him up (doesn't work), let him cry in the hope he'll go back to sleep (doesn't work)...what else can I do? He is in a crib that is crammed right next to my side of the bed so I can be 6 inches away from his face. He is 15 weeks old and he really should be able to sleep at least 3 hours or so at a stretch. Anyone else having this kind of problem? Anything I can do besides wait for him to get older? I am at the end of my rope.

My LO is 15 wks and we are going through the same thing. Its been a week! I'm exhausted and have also tried everything. I found a website WWW.babysleepsite.com that talks about a 4 month sleep regression. Wonder if that's what s going on with our LOs? Whatever it is I hope she gets over it soon.

  • I let Mila sleep in the swing so she can get longer stretches. We are all happier. I'll transition her to the crib at 4 ish months.

This. I finally gave in to letting my LO sleep in the swing for now. He gets 5-6 hour stretches in it. He's 13 weeks and we are moving next week where I'll transition him into his crib in his room.
