Parenting after a Loss

Our first flight tomorrow!

We're heading out tomorrow morning for our first flight of the year!  I booked a 6am flight so that hopefully P will sleep the whole way.  It's a 2 hour flight, nonstop so I'm hoping for the best.  I already have a list of items needed for my carry-on and a cooler bag ready for the breastmilk security check.  I do plan to give her some milk on take off and landing.  Any last minute tips for me?

We're coming from the most humid place in Texas too and going to dry dry Denver.  Should I plan on extra milk each day just to keep her hydrated?  I know I have to drink tons of water when we visit Denver because I'm just so thirsty!

Also we get to visit @daylights1 and her little Em on Friday!  YAY!  It's going to be a great vacation!

  • Yes, plan on milk for take off and landing. With just a two hour flight, it will be over before you know it! She likely will need extra fluids both in Denver and for the flying, I would follow her cues on that.

    How old is LO?

I betcha the flight went well. The little ones are the easiest to travel with.
