blister?

I discovered when I was pumping this afternoon that I have something that looks like a blister under one of my nipples.  It doesn't hurt, and I don't know how long it's been there, or if it's even a blister - it is just a redish bump, about the same size of my nipple.  Should I be worried?

    Are you putting nipple cream on your areola?  If you are you could have caused one of the glands to become clogged. 

    This happened to me as well and my lactation consultant told me to only use nipple cream on the nipple; keep it off of the areola.
