I am posting here even though I am in my second trimester, because I am carrying very large due to diastasis from previous pregnancy. My belly button has already "popped" and is showing through clothes. How are you covering it up (in a comfortable way that does not ride up/ride down/itch/squeeze, etc...)?
With my last two pregnancies, I would cover it with a band aid if it irritated me. If it didn't bother me, I would just leave it alone and wear whatever.
Full panel pants or a bella band might cover it up if you already have either. Mine isn't a total outtie (yet) and usually just wearing a tank top under my shirt hides it enough, but generally I don't care unless it's feeling irritated.
Re: Covering belly button?
I don't. Sometimes it's less obvious in certain clothes though, such as loose tops with a pattern.
