Baby weight

I seem to have a difficult time getting the last bit of baby weight off. I went to join a gym but it was just so expensive. I'm trying to balance everything that has to get and still have time to spend with my husband once he gets home. What are some ways to help shed those last few pounds ,mainly from my belly. Daily walks just doesn't seem to be doing the trick.

  • Right there with you :(

  • I've been using Abbie as a medicine ball. She seems to enjoy it and I definitely feel it in my abs and arms.
  • If your LO is a napper maybe you can try one of those 10 minute workout DVDs that consist of a variett of different workouts. I have the Billy Banks Tae Bo express. It has 8 different workouts all being 10 minutes long.

I know its hard to find time to workout, I am right there with you.
  • I have more to lose than that last little bit of baby weight but maybe just gove yourself more time. It hasn't been too long. Exercise when you can and eat as well as you can. My baby has decided her bed time is between 5 and 6:30 am, her cranky time is a short tine somewhere between 2 and 4 am. Needless to say I am pretty tired most days.I figure as they get older it will get easier to work exercise in. (At least I found it to be true before) if baby will let you, maybe durong a time when she isn't fussy put an exercise cd in amd kist do it while baby is enjoying time on the floor close by.
  • I had the baby, that was enough weight loss for me for now. :) Kudos to you all who have found time and motivation to lose weight!

  • I have been exercising and breast feeding, but still not losing weight. I am usually successful at being kind to myself and my amazingly functional body, but once in awhile I have a little pity cry (about the weight and about some of the other changes post-birth).
  • Oh, and I am really good at looking slim in some pictures, but other photos tell the same truth that I see in the mirror...I just don't post those photos online. I wonder if people who see me in person are surprised at the difference...

I'm the same. The weight is not moving even with exercise. I'm blaming it in nursing in hopes the rest will come off when I'm done.

  • I'm giving myself until August. I need to lose more to fit into my school clothes but I'm also hoping Aug will bring LO a little bit more of a schedule because our social lives have been super busy.
I plan on feeding at 5 (which is when LO gets up, usually) and then doing a 30 day shred vid or something similar.
