AW - Great Appointment Yesterday!

I just wanted to do a quick (AWish) update about my appointment yesterday.

OB said that all of the blood work, urine tests, weight measurements (of myself) that I've had done to date (with the exception of the NT scan - still need one more blood draw) have come back perfect. I didn't expect there to be any problems because my GP does regular blood work on everything anyway, but it is nice to hear that things are good.

She commented on how happy she was with my iron levels, and I almost fell off of the bed lol Nobody has ever commended me on my iron levels before! I was anemic for a long time and had to take iron supplements. But baby wants meat, so I've been eating a lot more since becoming pregnant and I guess it's working!

Then at the end of the appointment she took out the doppler and as soon as she touched my stomach with it, we could hear that little heart beating away! She even said "wow, that was easy!" lol Even though I had an idea about what it would sound like, you really have no idea until it is your baby in there. She told me that the heart rate was 150 bpm and told me not to go online and try to guess what sex the baby would be based on it lol

It was a really great appointment. I am really loving this OB now, and I just can't believe that things are going so well. I got back to the car and just cried on my way home. I know that there is still a long way to go, but I'm just so happy!

A/S and next OB appointment are scheduled for September 4th. I cannot believe that it is so close to September already!
