Has any of you DH tried this, said it can help count, motility and Morph...
Married 10/29/2005
TTC 2 years and BFP!
High risk pregnancy - high BP, Gestational diabetes on insulin, 4 blood clotting problems on lovenox 2x a day
TTC again 3 years - BFP 3/2013. Lost baby 4/2014 Referred to RE by high risk DR - diagnosis unexplained female infertility and 2% morphology male infertility.
Clomid/ovadril Without IUI - BFN 5/2013
Clomid/ovadril Without IUI - BFN 6/2013
Clomid/ovadril With IUI - 7/31/2013 and 8/1/2012 BFP WITH TWINS! Vanishing twin @ 7wks
So really for us there is only a true issue with the Morphology. I will have to ask what hormones they tested when they took blood last.

My DH has been on it since the end of January. His testosterone was slightly low, so it boosted his T enough so that it brought his count up quite significantly! All other factors are the same though. We've exhausted our search for a cause for the MFI at this point, but the count *may* be high enough to counteract the other issues now? Morphology is very difficult/impossible to improve. From my research, the only thing that seems to have an impact on morphology is if your DH has a thyroid problem and he started meds for that, or if he has a varicocele and surgery is able to correct it. With any treatment, it's a pretty big crapshoot to see if something is going to work or not, and it takes *at least* 3 months to see if anything is affected. And sometimes (like in our case) it can actually make it worse, at which point you have to start all over again.
My dad took clomid and it was obviously successful, because I'm here. That was over 30 years ago too, so they've been giving men clomid for a long time. I'm not sure what his numbers were, that would probably be an awkward convo.
My DH has been on it. His issue was undescended testes as a child. Clomid has helped him! The numbers are in my siggy!
TTC since May 2012 Me: 32 H: 31
DX: MFI-Very Low Count, I have Hashimotos.
IVF prep September 2013 cancelled due to Ovarian Cyst IVF #1 October 2013 Antagonistic Protocol with ICSI ER 10/31/13 (18R 16M 11F- 6 blasts to freeze) ET delayed due to OHSS FET scheduled for July 8. Delayed due to a crazy high TSH (it had been under control for YEARS!) FET #1 8/5/14 sET BFN
It will honestly be one of those things he will have to try and see, some men it helps a lot in our case it made no difference at all and he wad on it for like 6 months. My hubbs had undescended testicle surgery, but one is non functioning anyway so he is low across the board.
Best of luck on your journey, like I said I have seen many that it worked for!
