I thought the TWW was bad, waiting for 1st appt is torture!

Hey all,
6wks today! 1st appt isn't until 8/9. I thought waiting for that positive pregnancy test was bad, waiting for this 1st appt is torture! I feel like I need someone to tell me "yes, you're pregnant!". Anyone else going nuts like me??

My appt isn't until Aug 27th lol. I just want to hear the heartbeat, it would be nice to get a u/s but I'm not sure if I am or not.

I was told my first appt would be US first, see the doctor after. I need to see it to believe it!

Yea I feel the same way. My 1st appointment is next Wed with the nurse. So I'm excited just to get things "going", even though we won't get an u/s. I will then be able to schedule my next appointment for the end of August when we will get to see and hear baby!

My first appt is 8/8 but was told I wouldn't be getting a u/s sooooo I don't even know if this first appt will make me feel more relieved or "really pregnant." my question for the OB will be "how the heck do you know if everything is ok?!?"

Yes, and I've only known for a few days that we're expecting. My first appt isn't until 8/22 and I'll be almost nine weeks. No fun!

I soo agree!!! I'm six weeks and 1 day my 1st appointment is Aug 20!!!! I'll be 9 weeks then.. Waiting is the absolute worst!!! I am worrying myself to death.. I need the doctor to give me and DH the thumbs up!!

I am 5 weeks... First Appt is August 19 and is driving me crazy! I want to be able to tell my son that he's gonna be a Big brother but don't want him to be dissappointed if something happens!

We found out on 7/6 and first appointment isn't until 8/12!! That's 9 1/2 weeks...husband said today that the wait seems like FOREVER and I totally agree!! Can't wait to hear the heartbeat

Our first appointment is 8/5, I'll be 9w1d. I had forgotten it was next week until DH was going over the upcoming calendar and reminded me. I had my first u/s 10 days ago and we saw a little heartbeat.

It still doesn't seem real! I don't think it will until my bump starts to show.

My very first appointment is on August 28th and I will be 10 weeks and 4 days at that time. This waiting makes me soooo nervous! I'm glad I found an OB who takes new patients, but I can't wait for the u/s so I can see if this little baby is doing ok in there!

My family doctor asked me to have some blood works done, and I'm going tomorrow. So at least, I will have something to makes me feel like everything is fine...

I am sorry, but yall have calmed my nerves a bit! So, selfishly, thank you! My doctor did an immediate confirmation appt, so I had that 2 days after my BFP (7/25), but also know it is because of my past complications. I will have my u/s on 8/1 at what we think is 5w5d, and my first full OB appt on 8/12. Peace & blessings to all of you still waiting!

Today was my first apt! Very uneventful

I Peed in a cup had an internal exam was asked a bunch of questions and sent on my way.. See u in 4 weeks for the u/s ... Now that is going to be a hard wait!!!!!

I haven't even scheduled my first appointment. Haha.
My midwife texted me and told me to schedule it for sometime around 12 weeks.

I have a doppler at home that I can try for a heartbeat before then (I'll probably try around 10w).. but I'm mostly anxious to schedule my 18wk sono.

I had my blood tests done last week. My first appt is 8/13 & I will be 7 wks. The dr is doing an u/s.

I made my first appointment the day after I found out and its not until 8/8, I'll be 8w1d. So excited its next week! They wont do an ultrasound though, they said if I am far enough they will try to listen to the HB with doppler, but I think it'll be too soon. I think I'll have to wait until 12-13 weeks for an u/s.
