  What kind are you on?  I don't remember the name, but last time I was on progesterone suppositories and those were messy.  They leaked out all day and felt just like a period (which didn't help my paranoia any).

  This time I am on Crinone which is a gel you shoot up there.  When it comes out on the pad it's like a small amount of yellowish white discharge.  But often when I pee it comes out in the toilet as little clumps and flakes, and sometimes when I wipe there will be little clumps.  I've heard it's normal.  I'll do anything to help this pregnancy along but I always look forward to second tri so I can stop using the progesterone.

  I'm on a pill 3x's a day. But I have read a lot of women saying that they have a discharge with the suppositories. None of them have described it as "clumpy" though.

  
  

     Me: IR-PCOS, elevated DHEAs, low progesterone, weak ovulation  DH: low volume, low T

  SHG 5/10/13: both tubes blocked; HSG 6/28 = Left tube cleared! Right blocked.

  BFP#1 7/20/13 EDD 3/30/14, m/c 8/19/13, D&E 8/21/13, Chromosomal results = normal, female

  Lap & hysteroscopy scheduled for 10/31, right tube cleared, no endo found! ...Happy Halloween!

  Cycle 14: Clomid (50)+ IUI = BFP! EDD 9/16/14~ Rowan Elizabeth born sleeping at 17w4d on 4/12/14 due to IC.

  ~There is no foot too small that it cannot leave an imprint on this world~

  New RE June 2014. RPL b/w - negative. SIS looking for uterine/cervical abnormalities & Asherman's 6/10/14 - ALL CLEAR!  

  Cycle 16: Natural IUI = CP, Cycle 17: Femara (2.5) + IUI = BFN, Cycle 18 Femara (5) + IUI = BFFN, Cycle 19: Break

  Cycle 20: Clomid (50)+ IUI = BFP EDD 6/20, transvaginal cerclage 12/19, Carson Quinn born sleeping at 16w3d on 1/6/15 due to IC

  Phone consult with Dr. Haney (Univ of Chicago) for transabdominal cercalge scheduled for 2/9/15.

  If you are on crinone, 'clumps' are completely normal.  The gel gets absorbed, and what's leftover is a waxy residue.  While you're in the shower, you can use your finger to swipe the old out before putting in the day's dose.  That can help with discharge.

  Dh:34, no issues.  Me:31, Endo, slightly hypothyroid, deformed ovary, paracentric inversion.
  4 Gonal-F, Cetrotide, HcG, Crinone +TI cycles= all BFN
  Lap in 2012 to remove large unresolving cyst discovered endo and double lobed ovary.
   6 Gonal-F, Cetrotide, HcG, Crinone IUI cycles= All BFN,
  1st IVF w/ICSI- June '13 Antagonist: Gonal-F, Menopur, Ganirelix, HcG, Estradiol, Crinone= 7 retrieved, 4 mature, 1 unfertilized, 2 abnormally fertilized, 1 normally fertilized.  2DT of only embryo and our miracle BFP.
  Our beloved baby boy was born sleeping Oct. 13, 2013 due to pROM/IC/Uterine infection.
  2nd IVF w/ICSI- Feb. '14 EPP/lupron/antagonist: Estrace, lupron, HGH, Gonal-F, Menopur, HcG, PIO, lovenox, doxy/dex.=21 retrieved, 16 mature, 15 fertilized!!  5dt of 1 blast/ 6 frozen.   I get clumps with crinone and endometrin and i basically pee in my pants with generic progesterone. fun times

  Dx: Complete septate uterus with cervical duplication, endometrial polyps, PCOS, endometriosis, hypo thyroid, luteal phase defect
  4 uterus surgeries to correct my complete septum and to remove polyps and 2 years of seeing the RE, medicated cycles and IUIs
  Baby 1 and 2: BFP 3/3/11 with 2 babies EDD 11/1/11, M/C 4/6/11
  Baby #3: 8/11 pregnant EDD 4/27/11 and m/c:(
  Baby #4: 10/12/11 BFP! EDD 6/16/12m/c 10/26/11
  Baby #5: 3/13/12 BFP! EDD 11/25/12 ANOTHER m/c

  Baby #6: 2/14/13- BFP! EDD 10/24/13, CP 2/19/13

  I'm on suppositories 2x/day. I've found that inserting one right before I lay down for bed, and then having DH bring me another at 5:30am when he's up for work and I still have 2ish hours to sleep to be the best way to avoid the ever-so-fun mess. 

  
  

  Two DDs 10/08 and 08/10, no primary IF

  TTC #3 since 10/2011 - dx unexplained/weak ovulation

   3 BFN clomid + TI cycles, 5 BFN clomid/gonal f IUIs, 1 mmc IUI

  2/19/2014 IVF #1 Unexpected low E2 (oversuppressed) -> increased to max doses = 3 or 4 follicles, converting to IUI

  BFFP Saw 1 beautiful heartbeat at 6w6d, follow up u/s at 9w showed mmc. Eff this.

  NTNP 5/2014-9/2014, OPKs and TI 10/2014 - 1/2015. 

  RPL testing all normal, AFC, AMH, and FSH all normal. 

  IVF 1.2 1/22/2014 natural cycle start, AFC 28, 300 gonal f/150menopur.

  Angelsnight I am on crinone 8%. I'm with you, I'll do anything to help support my pregnancy but ill sure be glad when I'm done with these!!
  
  I just about had a heart attack with the discharge. I thought I had a some bizarre severe yeast infection LOL

  Ladies can I ask your advice please.. I am in the UK and so I'm not sure if the medical treatment is different, what I would like to know is how did you find out you needed progesterone support? I have not been offered any blood tests, the doctor just said I should wait for my first u/s at 8 weeks. I feel anxious and something in the back of my mind keeps drawing me to this question. Any advice is greatly received.

  usually you only get progesterone if you have had a history of losses, see an RE or have other problems. if you are "normal" they usually wont even test for it

  Thanks for letting me know hjw, I can pay for a progesterone blood test but not sure if I'm just letting worry take over! I guess I'm pretty anxious as this is my first and I've been trying for over 15 months!!

  For those of you doing the suppositories, how bad are your symptoms? I've been on them now for 10 days and am miserable with nausea!! I know im pg but yuck! I can barely stand! I haven't noticed a messy discharge like ppl said and just wonder if I'm doing it wrong? I'm on one 25mg at night..I'm just 7wks.. Thanks!
