The Small Things

The small things that my boys do can truly make me smile and remind me that all the ups and downs we've been through are worth it. My small thing is there is nothing better then walking into the boys room and going to get them out of their crib and having them smile at you when they see you. Or listening to them coo. What's your small thing?

Re: The Small Things

  • Hands. LO cups my neck when I hold him and has his hand on my chest when I nurse him. Sweetest thing.

  • My LO will rsndomly stop eating, and give a huge smile while still latched on. I know she's not smiling at me, but it is still the cutest thing.

  • When her upper lip just sticks out a bit right before she smiles. Something about those lips!
  • Our little man gets what we call 'small mouth' - he goes from having normal shaped lips to forming a tiny O with his mouth, it's so cute :)

  • B has and enormous smile on his face when he falls asleep after eating. It's soo cute.

  • DD will try to have conversations with me now. She will say "ah" I will say "ah ba", she will say "ga", I will say "ga da". All the while she has the biggest smile on her face. Probably because she knows her voice is being heard. Love those moments.

    Anniversary

  • The smiles get me the most right now. But also, often when I am trying to walk around and get her to sleep she holds me so tight with her little hands. Those two things can change my mood or remove any frustration/sadness/feeling of exhaustion instantly.

The faces she makes and also the poses she gets into while sleeping...they are so darn cute!  I also love when she looks at me contentedly while I'm holding her.

My LO does this too and even in the MOTN it warms my heart

I love this also. She will do it when she wakes up and does her crazy stretches.

When she's finally done nursing and she just falls off my breast and rolls onto her back in a milk drunk daze, with her little neck stretched out.

This is mine too! It always makes me smile!

While I'm feeding her she rubs her foot on me. It makes me melt.
