Going crazy... help!

Good morning! Here's a question for anyone with experience taking Clomid that may be able to shed some light on the craziness that is my cycle. Quick background: I've always had very regular cycles, with roughly 5 days of EWCM before ovulation, followed by a thermal shift, and 13 day luteal phase. RE had me try Clomid this cycle to improve quality and possibly quantity of eggs being released. Midcycle ultrasound showed 2 mature follicles and despite a lack of CM, I had a few days of +OPKs and a gradual but evident thermal shift. Everything's looking great, right? Flash forward to this past Friday (what I thought was 7DPO) and my progesterone level was 2.48. Really? So then Sunday I had EWCM and thought maybe I had geared up to O before, but it never happened and it is now. And now this morning (CD25 and what I thought was 10DPO) I have a lot of EWCM, but also bleeding when I wipe. And I don't mean spotting, a lot of blood, but only when I wipe (started at 5:30am and my pantyliner is still stark white) and very different from menstrual bleeding. What is going on? Am I the crazy girl who doesn't realize what her period is or is this a weird side effect from Clomid and I should be concerned? Any thoughts or experiences would be appreciated. Thanks!

sorry could be anything...irritation etc... you just have to wait and see. I wouldn't worry. You can always call your RE and ask.

I don't have any experience with Clomid, but I'm sorry that you're feeling confused. What did your doctor say about your progesterone level?

Thanks for the responses. Yes, this is my first round of Clomid and the Dr said my progesterone level indicates I didn't ovulate and to call if I don't get my period or if I do and want to do another medicated cycle. I probably just need to wait and see what happens, but I will probably call just to get some reassurance. Thanks again!

Oh and no chart, I recently switched to a method that just tracks mucus and my chart is not online. I was just temping to help confirm O. They were roughly 98.1 up to day 15 (what I thought was O), then 98.4 for a few days and up to 98.7 on day 22, went down to 97.8 yesterday and stayed down today. Ugh, maybe it is just my period with temps that low.

Clomid can mess with your BBT which is why many REs tell you not to temp on treatment cycles. If you are doing TI and no trigger then timing could be off or your could not have ovulated or just gear up to O but not O'd. As for the spotting going on now, you could be starting your period or it could just be mid cycle bleeding. If it gets heavier call your RE to tell them your period started, if it keeps with spotting take tests every other day for the next week and if it doesn't arrive call period.
