Dodge Grand Caravan Middle Bench Seat

Alright so I wasn't really in the market for a new car but my dealership is offering a great deal so that my payments will be the same or less than what they are now for a Caravan.  The problem is, it comes standard with a bench seat in the middle, which is only a two person seat.  I have my second little one due in November and I don't know how I feel about my three yo being that close to my infant.  He's not an aggressive kid but I don't want him dropping a sippy cup or something on the baby.  Anyone dealing with this setup? Thanks in advance!

    DH drives a Grand Caravan, and he has never had an issue with DD#1 sitting that close to DD#2.
