Slap happy

So lo has starting slapping and scratching at things for a few weeks now. She slaps at her bottle and my arms during feedings, scratches at my arms and the couch, and last night she started slapping her arm when we were cuddling.

Is anyone else's lo doing this, is it normal?

Yes I get slapped and clawed all day lol, reminds me to clip her nails today. She scratched me hard last night and it really hurt!

Yes, I'm getting the same all the time. If he's not reaching up to squeeze/scratch my face during feeding, I know it's because he's going to get the back of my arm fat! :S

I have been getting slapped and scratched for a while. Morgan just started pulling her hair though while eating. She pulls and looks confused as to why it hurts!

Connor loves to pinch the backside of my arm when I feed him. I'm considering a straight jacket fro him.LOL. It hurts and I bruise easily.

Oh yeah! We frequently get slapped in the face, my breast or chest while she's eating, my chin. Now now she's out of the sleep suit she will roll on to her belly and slap the bed in the middle of the night. She's done it to her high chair for a while now.

Just a couple nights ago she started hitting herself in the head! Lol she's always flailing her right arm up like playin around but now she's making contact with her head from the back of her hand. It looks so funny but I try to stop her lol

Oh and she's always hitting the couch, chair or rocking chair when eating. She will unlatch, sit straight up and lean over just to smack it...

No pinching (yet) but definitely the slapping/hitting and scratching. When he's really tired at night & trying to finish his last bottle he will punch himself in the head repeatedly. Not hard enough to do any damage just a constant bopping.

On the slapping thing, I have to cover his penis in the bath because he pulls,slaps and grabs it constantly and I know it has to hurt. It makes my SO wince every time he sees Connor do this.

yes, dd loves to slap and she really does it when she gets excited. She also learned to pinch and was pulling at my brothers arm hair during our road trip.
