So very nauseous

OMG, this is ridiculous.  Before yesterday I would randomly get nauseous and it would only last for a minute or two.  Starting yesterday I have been nauseous all day and gag at nothing.  I am starting to dry heave while typing this. Did anyone else have a specific date they started horrible m/s?

Re: So very nauseous

  • It hit me at exactly 7 weeks (I thought I was in the clear!). GL!

  • M/S started at 6w but it's not horrible yet!
  • Good grief.  It is nasty.  LOL

  • I had some Saturday and I thought I was going to be miserable for the next few months but it went away! I also had a headache so not sure if it was baby vs. migraine. I keep thinking I am in the clear but I have a feeling it is coming! I have been gagging when I brush my teeth.
  • I am about 7 weeks pregnant and starting feeling nauseous about a week ago.  I don't know if this will help for you, but it has somewhat for me.  I wear the Sea Bands. I also started taking my pre-natal at night instead of the morning.  That has probably made the biggest difference. I also eat all day.  I am not saying that I eat a lot, but I eat small deals about 6 times a day.  Sometimes the idea of food makes me feel even sicker, but once I get  a granola bar down, I feel better.

This isn't fun. I am so thankful that I work from home.  I couldn't imagine having to leave in the morning. I also couldn't imagine having other kids around while feeling this crappy.

  • Mine started at about 6w4 days and has just gotten worse.  Last week I was sitting at my desk fighting back tears because it was so bad and I was so hungry, but could not eat.
  • Hit me this week (in 6th week).  Horribly sick and absolutely exhausted - I need at least 9 hours of sleep a night or I can't even function!
  • Mine started at 5 w 3 days the day that I had my PG confirmational apptointment with the dr. and as soon as he walked in...he said "are you puking yet"....at the time I was just starting to get nauseous....and the next day it hit!  I switched my prenatal vitamins (check with your dr. first), bought sea bands and started taking vitamin B6 (50mg) 2x/day.  I also ate smaller more frequent meals..you may find that you feel sick and really full if you try to eat too much (if you can eat anything at all).  I also chewed gum much of the day which seemed to help me with the gagging problem.  I can't suck on candy's b/c I have problems with low blood sugar regulation so sugarless gum worked well.  Good luck, it is no fun!  I will say that mine let up after 2 weeks and has been since been very minimal :-)
