BPF & Update to DS Bullying (long)

I know a few of you had asked for an update to DS being bullied, and I apologize for the delayed update - work has been kicking my a$$. We addressed our concerns with the DC director who is also his teacher, and while she "supposedly" didn't see the bullying, she promised to keep a close eye on it. Well, she got back to us and told us she did witness it twice, and arranged a meeting with the parents. In no uncertain terms they were told that there is a zero tolerance for bullying and any further incidents would result in immediate expulsion. Later that week a flyer went out to all parents reminding them of the zero tolerance policy. Since then DS says there have been no issues, and we are comfortable with how quickly it was addressed. Thank you all for the advice and concern.

    I am so glad that you were able to have this dealt with! It sounds like the DC director really took it seriously.

    Well that's good news!  I'm glad they were able to take care of the situation quickly.

    And little K is getting so big!  She's so cute, and I love that little smile!

    That's wonderful! I am glad you spoke with them and they followed through.  I am glad you shared with us as I had been wondering about your little guy's situation. I hope it continues to be a positive environment for him.

    That is such awesome news! So glad to hear things are better for your little man. Very reassuring that the DCP took it seriously.

    K is just too cute! Love the shot with the sunglasses and her dress- looking like a little diva!

    I'm glad the bullying issue got resolved!  DH used to be an elementary teacher and it shocked him how much of it went on and that often it went unaddressed (not in his classroom!).
