Just drank the glucola....

Really wasn't that bad, reminded me of flat orange soda. But now my stomach hurts bad, it figures.
Hoping for the best with the results!!!!!!!

    It burned my throat and gave me stomach cramps, but yeah the taste isn't horrible. Good luck with the test!

    I actually enjoyed the orange (probably because I cut out soda and used to chug orange crush like it was my job when I was young...hello childhood obesity!). I did get a little tummy upset because I drank it fast...hint: you have up to 5 min to drink it. Even if the taste isn't offensive, take more than 10 sec to drink it. Chugging will only upset your stomach more. I was miffed that I couldn't drink water after because it was balls hot and they asked me to pee twice during the hour (once before my U/S and again to do the dipstick).

    It seems like everyone got the orange. One of my friend's had fruit punch and said it was nasty. What other flavors have you ladies encountered?

    They let us take small sips of water at the hospital lab where they give the tests. There's also only orange flavored glucola here, but I've heard of fruit punch and lemon lime flavors.

    I liked the fruit punch! I chugged it down though, so I didn't have much time to think about it. I couldn't drink any water afterwards either.
    Are they supposed to tell you your results either way? They never called me, so I am assuming that I passed, but I think I'll call today to confirm...

    Well I am back from the blood draw. Guess you could say it was kinda traumatic. Went in and they took three tubes and them went on my way out to to car. Noticed my arm felt wet looked down and I was covered in blood. My shirt, pants, and the center console in my car. At this point slightly dealing out I ran back into the office and the cleaned me up. Still bleeding they put this big wrap on my arm

    They said sometimes it just happens...... Now my clothes are gross and I feel light headed. Not to mention on the walk back to my car I noticed I had left a trail of blood droplets. Ugh. This was supposed to be an easy and quick appointment. Anyone else ever have this happen?!?!?

    Never had that bleeding after a blood draw happen.  Hope it was just because they didn't apply pressure long enough.  You'll probably have a good bruise around the injection site.

    I have only had the orange.  I like it, wouldn't drink it if I didn't have to, but I love orange soda.  I have heard for the fruit punch and the lemon-lime flavored ones.

    I called since I won't see my OB until the 6th of August.

    It does happen from time to time and you bruise because of it. The phlebotomist should have asked you to hold pressure on it. Did you take any aspirin in the last ten days or do you eat a lot of green veggies, both can make you bleed more.

    I preferred the lemon lime much more than the orange that I had at the 1-hour.
