Good morning!
How was everyone's night? Milestone or news?
I still type with spaces even though the bump crams everything together now.
QOTD: Once your LO arrives are you planning on trying a sleep training technique or just wing it?
My night was decent. Just the regular ups and downs. Tossing and turning.
We're 31 weeks today!
QOTD: I got some ideas from the the book Healthy Sleep Habits Healthy Twins or something like that, but honestly that book bores me to tears! I got similar tips from the blog by Bumpie banana pancake. I plan to try those.
24w 5d I decided to forgo Ambien last night here in the hospital and I slept lousy. I could not get comfortable. I am going to ask my husband to bring me my Snoogle. During last night's monitoring, I only had one contraction during the hour. Fingers crossed that the Indocin and increased Procardia have done the trick and maybe my cervix stabilized.
QOTW: I have a book or two about sleep training but honestly thought I had more time. With twins, I plan to do one awake, both awake to maintain a schedule. However, we haven't really read everything we need to.

I took meds before bed last night, so I slept okay. I think it may have had more I do with the fact that I went to my parents house and did bed rest on their couch. It was so nice to hang out with my parents and sister/bil!
Qotd: sleep training isn't for us. Awesome for people who it works for, just not out parenting style :-)
Also, timing more stupid contractions. 4ish minutes apart, though not getting stronger...I don't think...maybe....UGH!!
I slept well last night. I stayed up kind of late, but I didn't wake up much. Poor DH has a bad headache today so his tossing work me up this morning. I still got 8 hours though. I feel bad for him. He gets random migranes.
I am two weeks away from being released from strict bed rest! I will still take it easy, because I don't really want my baby to come at 36 weeks. I will feel a lot better making it to that number though.
QOTD: I think I am just going to wing it. I am going to be a SAHM so if he keeps me up a lot then I am ok with that. Of course this is my first so I may end up regretting this choice, but for now I plan on working with his schedule.
I slept fairly well til 5 something this morning. Then it was off and on with them coming in for sugar check, and bloodwork, and a baby crying next door. I did talk to the doc about changing how often my sugars are checked since they are generally not above 120 after meals, unless I eat something that is carb loaded, like pizza. They changed it to 3 days a week, fasting and 2 hours after meals. Yay, no more pokes for today! QOTD: I will be winging it. I didn't have any problems with DD, except for when she had colic, which was due to some stomach issues. Before the colic started, and after we figured out that she needed lactose free formula for a bit, she was easy to get to sleep. Stacey: Yay for 31 weeks! according to my LMP I hit 31 weeks on Wed, but on the bump I have it that I just hit 30 today, but my number is based off the charting I was doing to get pregnant. 10-4: I'm sorry you didn't get much sleep. Definitely have my Fx that the meds keep working! Ilovetolaugh: Getting out of the house was nice, while I was at home too, glad you were able to get some good sleep! JLM: Yay for only 2 weeks more of SBR, you can make it!
Oh wow Wallace, that is a huge change! I wish we could afford to replace my car. It is a 2000 cavalier, and I've put a lot of money into replacement parts. It is currently at my uncles shop, needed a wheel bearing, and who knows what else. It also has almost 124,000 miles on it. The trunk doesn't shut without being tied shut because the hook came unwelded, and it is only 2 doors. Ugh, oh well hopefully we will have money to replace it before it completely dies.
I slept decently last night once I fell asleep. Today's our 11th anniversary, so I might let myself go to dinner with DH since dr is so back and forth on the BR. QOTD: I think we're just going to wing.
Congrats on 31 week, @staceymack!
Here's to good napping for those that didn't have a good night.

My night was good. They stopped my 4am vitals which was nice. Now it's at midnight and 6am. I had my glucose test this morning. Wasn't horrible.
QOTD: at this point as long as this little girl makes it out healthy and happy I almost don't care about a sleeping pattern. Lol. I'm only kidding, sorta.
Great picture, Wallace and congratulations on the new vehicle!
Hoping things get stable/stay stable for those of you struggling.
Happy anniversary, praying&dreaming!
Slept pretty well, aside from crazy dreams.
Winging it, like everything else to do with this pregnancy and baby! Scared FTM-to-be here! Keep hearing how I can make allllllll the plans in the world, but all depends on the baby, so have decided to try and go with flow!
Hey ladies, since I slept all afternoon yesterday I didn't sleep until 5am. My hubby bought me the snoggle yesterday which is so comfy but I wake up so much to use the bath room and felt trapped in a net.
Qotd: I am planning on winging it but who knows I am still early in my pregnancy that may change
Night was okay...peed a couple times and had a contraction while getting up. But unfortunately woke up with a back ache from sleeping in the same spot for too long. I hit 32 weeks yesterday, and will feel very relieved if I can hit 34 weeks.
QOTD: totally winging it at first. Although DH and I are pretty routinized ourselves, so maybe we'll naturally land at something that works for all of us?

Hi everyone,
I just discovered this group. I'm 24w2d with di/di twins on MBR since 21 wks due to possible occult placental abruption and contractions. I'm trying to take bedrest a day at a time, but itis harder than I ever imagined. November seems so far away. Anyways, just wanted to say hello to this group. It's nice to know that there are others out there!
Welcome to the group @sarahcalvert ! I hope the boards give you some form of entertainment while you are on bed rest. I know they take up quite a bit of my time. Lol
Thanks @angelchild24 ! It's pretty crazy we look outside and realize woah that's our car lol I can't believe we traded my partners VW Beatle for a minivan, talk about change!
I so understand about going from a tiny car to a big one! I sold my mini cooper after I found out I was pregnant. We are planning on getting a Honda CRV. Huge change! I can't imagine not scooting around in a tiny car, and having a big SUV to control. Lol
My day went kind of good and kind of bad. I had contractions every five minutes in my sleep but they didn't progress me any. Doc let me go home on bed rest and I'm relieved to be able to rest in comfort and around my babies. I run an in home daycare that my sister is going to do for me while I supervise from the couch. One of my parents texted me to let me know that she was letting me go while I was still in the hospital today. Nothing like more financial strain to keep you relaxed
QOTD- I tend to bf on demand and am pretty relaxed. We will see how it goes if this guy is early. I'm afraid he'll get away with anything so long as he is healthy.
Wallace- Congrats on the minivan! Keenah- I like your description, I frequently feel that way too. Sarah-Welcome to the group.
I hope everyone has a good start to their new week. I'm going to ignore doctor's orders tomorrow (it's not too bad since I'm on MBR instead of SBR, otherwise I wouldn't ignore them) and I'm going to go down to the bus stop for my DD's first day of Kindergarten and although I'm not allowed out in the heat, I will be there for her to get on and off the bus tomorrow. After that DH will be the only one, but it's such a huge milestone and I don't want to miss it. DH says he'll drive us to the bus stop so I can sit in the car until the bus comes, so I guess it won't be ignoring the doctor too much.
QOTD: We will wing it and then around 3 months we will do the same thing as we did with DD which is a very mild cry it out based on her schedule. It worked great with older DD and of course there will be tons of factors to see if we will actually do that again (i.e. eating frequency, colic, etc).
