DS is 13 months old and sleeps with just a little lovey for naps and bedtime. At a year we put his favorite (small) stuffed animal in there too. I'm wondering if it's "ok" to put a small baby blanket in there over him too. I know as soon as he rolls over, the purpose of the blanket will be out the window as he doesn't know how to cover himself up, but it's been in the 50s at night here the last couple nights and it gets cool in his room. I've already got him in fleece pjs! Does anyone else put a small blanket in the crib to try to help LO stay warm?

DD has had her favorite blanket in there since 5-6 months old. She goes crazy for it as soon as she sees it and associates it with sleeping. It doesn't really do much to keep her warm though because she rolls around so much. When I check on her, she's usually laying on top of it.
DD1 5.26.12 - Femara, Gonal F and IUI
DD2 10.18.14 - IVF
She will be 2 next month and we just gave her a pillow, sheet and comforter type blanket but we just transitioned to her toddler bed which is why we did that too.
