Cloth Diapering

Original Tide Powder ?

Would anyone NOT recommend using Tide powder?  Right now I'm using ECOS and I just don't feel like it's doing a great job getting the diapers clean enough.  Several people have recommended Tide original powder and I was hoping some here could share their experiences, both good and bad?  Thanks!

  • My LO had a HORRIBLE reaction to original tide...definitely try it out on some clothing first if you usually use a free and clear detergent for LO. Pretty sure that's the only negative.

  • I use it. I use up to the 1line. At first I was only using 2 this. There diapers would stink. Now I have no problems.

Does the same go for tide liquid ?

No, liquid contains more chemicals that aren't good. I don't know what they are off the top of my head, but generally all liquid detergents are not reccommended.

We use tide powder and no issues or sensitivities!
