  What about warm artichoke spinach dip in a bread bowl? Little smokies in BBQ sauce? A meat & cheese platter or even a bottle of wine?

  Do like a layered bean dip, 1 large can of refried beans, sour cream, fresh salsa, cheese, black olives, green onion, salt and pepper. Then bring with a bag of chips. Take it in an aluminum pan so you don't have to worry about bringing home any pans

  Potato salad
  
  Mini spinach and cheddar quiches ( you can cheat and get the pastry cups to make it faster)
  
  Mini pizzas with different cheeses and cold cuts, and I mean mini, like the size of baby quiches. You can just cut the pizza dough using a small round dish.

  Jalapeño poppers are always good. Just cut them in half, clean out the seeds, stuff with cream cheese mixed with garlic salt, wrap in bacon, and put some BBQ sauce on top. Bake until peppers are soft.
